We hope you have arrived safely and had no trouble finding the home. We want you to make yourself at home right away. We ask that all guests go through the home and report to us any dissatisfaction within the first 24 hours of your stay.

In this booklet, you will find information about our house and the Canandaigua/Finger Lake area. Should you have any other questions or problems during your stay, please contact us immediately so we can assist you.
We hope you enjoy your stay and visit us again in the future!
Check In Information
- The house should already be in the general 67-74 degree temperature range when you arrive depending on the season. You can adjust the wall units in each room to adjust the temperature to your liking. Please review the section in this document on heating and air conditioning so you know how to use all the systems so you can be comfortable.
- Please review all the rules and information provided in this booklet.
- Please report any issues to us immediately!
Check Out Information
- Please hang all used towels or put in the bottom of the empty tub
- Please leave all used beds unmade & place used throw blankets on the seat of the couch in the living room
- Please remove all garbage and take it to the garbage building on the parking platform to drop in the dumpsters. The door code is 1203.
- Turn off all wall HVAC units.
- Please make sure the grill is closed and covered
- Please make sure stove and oven are turned off
- Please turn off all TVs, Lights & Fans
- Please lock all the windows and doors
- Please put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher.
- Report all damage immediately to property manager
- Have a safe trip and we hope you will be back!
Haven VRM Cleaning Standards
We clean in accordance with the CDC and NY State Guidelines and use the AHLA Safe Stay Standards.
All hard, non-porous surfaces are cleaned and disinfected with products that are on the CDC COVID-19 approved disinfectant list between every guest. All porous surfaces are vacuumed, washed and/or sprayed with a disinfectant.
All used bedding, blankets and towels are washed between every guest. Laundry washed in our facility by our staff is washed using all natural, plant based products to reduce chemical and allergy sensitivities at temperatures recommended by the manufacturer, using the warmest possible temperature and drying completely.

The condo is in the Town of Canandaigua and only about 15 minutes away from Canandaigua limits. The City of Canandaigua, at the north end of the lake has a population of over 10,000 and has all the amenities of a small city. All your necessities and services can generally be found within 1-15 miles from the condo. There is a section in this document that provides recommendations on where to go for various things you may need.

Property Lines
This condo is surrounded by other privately owned condos on all sides but the lake. Some key notes:
- Please respect the property of the adjoining properties by not entering the property of any neighbor.
- Please make sure your car is parked in a designated parking area for your condominium rental unit. There is one overflow guest spot available for your use on the opposite side of the parking lot. These are 1st come, 1st served and not assigned to units.
- There is no parking on the roads in Bristol Harbour.
HOA Amenities and Rules to be Aware of
Note: You have a key card that will give you access to locked amenities. This is located in the binder
Amenities available to you during your stay:
- Beach
- there is an elevator to the beach, you will need your key card to use
- Guests have use of the Beach Monday thru Friday, except for Labor Day, Memorial Day & July 4th
- please note that the paddle board rental program is not available to guests
- The marina is not available for guest use. There are public marinas down the road that offer rentals.
- Guests may walk to or be dropped off by the elevator, but there is no guest parking in the parking lot/garage adjacent to the elevator.
- Tennis/Pickleball courts
- Located on Golfside Circle
- Guests may use the courts after 3 pm, unless there is an event. Proper court etiquette for pickleball and tennis must be followed at all times.
- Playground

- BBQ grill
- HOA grills are not for guest use. Please only use the grill located on the balcony of your unit. Please clean the grill surface of any food residue.

- Community Center bathrooms
- Community Center - The Bristol Harbour Community Center (BHCC) is located across from the tennis/pickleball courts on Golfside Circle.
Rules to be aware of:
- Parking is not permitted on roads and all roads must be clear for emergency and first-responder vehicles to pass.
- BEACH RULES –Your cooperation in making the beach and waterfront at Bristol Harbour a pleasant and safe place for all residents and guests is essential by knowing and observing the following:
- Bicycles are not permitted on tennis courts, sidewalks, pedestrian paths, the elevator walkway, or any other applicable walkways.
- Flammable substances, like gasoline and propane, are not allowed in the elevator. Smoking is also not allowed in the elevator at any time.
- Fire Pits are available for resident use only. Renters are not permitted to use.
House
Front Door Lock
- The code you were provided for check-in will unlock the door. Enter the code, followed by the check mark. You will hear the tumbler turn.
- To lock the door, tap on the Yale key after closing the door.
Internet/Wi-Fi
- The house has commercial/pro quality Wi-Fi access points.
- The Wi-Fi information for connecting is:

Dish Washer
- Please empty bulk food waste into the garbage first
- Then rinse the remaining food stuck to the plate/bowl/utensil into the garbage disposal (see garbage disposal section for things that should never go into garbage disposal). You only need a rough rinse to get the majority off.
- Place the rough rinsed item into the dishwasher.
Stove/Oven
- The stove is a glass top electric oven range
- Please keep any flammable items away from the stove
Air Conditioning and Heating
- The house has under window wall units in the living room, Dining Room and Both Bedrooms. Note, these are heat pumps.
- Air Conditioning Tips on a Hot Day
- On a hot day you want to keep all the doors open to the bedrooms to allow the A/C units in each bedroom to cool the entire house.
- Turn the ceiling fans on in each bedroom to mix the air.
Electrical Panel
Hopefully during your stay, you won't need to check on any tripped breakers. However, if you do, the panel can be found in the utility closet next to the kitchen.
House Rules
Please refer to the Renter Agreement for a list of terms and conditions. Among those terms and conditions, in paragraph 1, it refers to additional rules and regulations the renter agrees to that are posted on the premises. This is a list of the on-premises rules.

- No Pets (inside or outside) unless prior permission has been granted
- Please do not rearrange the furniture.
- Please do not enter/open locked Doors, Cabinets, or Storage Chests. The following areas should not be accessed by guests:
- Closet near bathroom in primary bedroom
- Do not remove the TVs from the wall.
- Do not leave windows open when the house is unattended
- If windows are open, please turn off the air conditioning.
Noise
- Please keep noises to a respectful level for the neighboring properties.
The following shall constitute excessive noise from the hours of 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Outdoor Furniture
- Please only use furniture as its intended (e.g., sitting). Please do not climb or use the furniture to hold other things in place/etc.

Greater Finger Lake Area Winery Map
The Finger Lakes region is quite large and there are a ton of wineries in the area. Geneva, NY, which is at the top of Seneca Lake, is a great place to start if you want to do a large wine tour as Seneca Lake has the most wineries of any lake. Keuka lake is south of the house and also has several very nice wineries.There are hundreds of websites specializing in finger lakes wineries, so we are not listing them all here. We have included a map so you can get your bearings! The arrow is pointing at the north end of Canandaigua Lake.
